Compassionate and direct, our counseling services are designed for individuals and families who are willing to face the difficult issues and make positive changes. Together, we work on positive coping skills while addressing core issues. Counseling is not meant to be a band aid. It is more a deep dive into the people and things that truly matter. Our clients come from all walks of life and include adults, teens and children, military personnel and blended families. Melanie has extensive counseling experience in teen trauma, sexual assault trauma, divorce trauma and post-traumatic stress, and our counselors often work with families in crisis. Melanie is trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) psychotherapy and CBT trauma-focused therapy. She is also a certified Sand Tray Play therapist.
